First Clothing Line Designed Exclusively for Androgynous Women

After years of frustrations with women's apparel, of searching and experimenting, sisters A and Vee finally debuts a line inspired by "menswear" for women, called "Androgynous"

All the designs were created to solve the problems androgynous women, women who don't fit into the societal "feminine" category, faced when shopping for clothes such as jackets, vests and pants with actual pockets, button-down shirts that are not designed to accentuate the chest and hips. The designs are not form-fitting and do not taper at the waist and hips. These are some of the most common problems that are not being addressed.

But to them, it's more than just fashion. It's about challenging the gender roles societies have created. It's about staying genuine instead of making compromises to fit in. They believe that the way we dress says much more about our society than we think.

They hope the existence of the clothing line brings awareness and encourages people to be more accepting of others.

They're currently running a 27-day campaign on Kickstarter to help launch the first collection. Anyone who backs up the project can elect garments from the collection as a reward. The highest reward they are giving away is a leather bond book of the original sketches, women's coats drawings and concepts that led to the clothing line.

About Androgynous
Androgynous is a clothing line that encourages people to stay genuine. No one should have to be anybody else to be accepted.
