NAPW Los Angeles, CA Local Chapter Hosted Branding/ Productivity Coach Ruth Klein

Members and guests of the NAPW Los Angeles, CA Local Chapter met for a breakfast networking meeting on October 10th. Chapter member and Branding and Productivity Coach Ruth Klein, this month's guest speaker, shared the latest industry tips with members and guests through her informative presentation, 'Successful Marketing Strategies for Your Business.' More than 20 members and guests attended the October breakfast networking event.

NAPW Los Angeles Chapter President Ruth Garcia-Corrales took the floor and warmly welcomed the attendees to the monthly meeting. She invited everyone to take a few minutes to introduce themselves to the crowd and talk about their careers, professional goals, interests, etc.

"The room was filled with professional women from a variety of industries and professions, which allowed for a lively and stimulating networking session," said the Chapter President. "They were also the perfect audience for our guest speaker, Ruth Klein, who is an expert in branding and marketing."

Ruth Klein is a Branding and Productivity Coach with her company, The Marketing Time Source. Her presentation 'Successful Marketing Strategies for Your Business' was the topic for the meeting. She emphasized to members and guests that each brand should reflect their individual essence. Branding is an active and conscience process requiring credibility and a following.

"If your brand is able to portray your essence, it will allow potential clients to immediately connect to your service/product," she told the crowd.

After she thanked Ms. Klein, Chapter President Ruth Garcia-Corrales made the announcement that Chapter members and guests had been invited by member Felicia Gutierrez to a networking social event on Tuesday, October 23rd. The event will be held at one of the TOUS stores (in Century City) and is free to all attendees.

"We will have hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, free swag bags, a raffle for a free handbag valued at $500, and free makeup touch-ups by a licensed industry artist," said Ruth. "It promises to be another excellent networking opportunity, so please try to attend!"

She also loves to share her business and offered the opportunity to those who may not have a specific career path.

She invited the group to an Achievable Clinic benefit concert on November 17th at 8:00pm. The concert will be held at Saint Augustine-By-The-Sea Episcopal Church.

Ruth Garcia-Corrales (President of NAPW Los Angeles Local Chapter) is the Advertising and Marketing Manager of La Curacao. Curacao caters specifically but not exclusively to the Hispanic market. Lorna Cass is a Representative of Medical Consulting Plus, LLC, which is a billing, collection, and management service company. They specialize in ASC Facility and Professional Surgeon billing.

Celia Goldman is a Print Manager at Liberty Paper. Our primary business is supplying corporate America and government agencies with good quality copy paper and printing services.

Additionally, we supply specialty papers, toners, and direct mail services to our customers. My education and background is in manufacturing, production, purchasing, communications, graphic design, and advertising. Alicia Gargaro-Magana is an Executive Producer for Pictures of Los Angeles, which is a full-service production and publishing company working in film, television, photography, advertising, and written work, providing both original content and show-for-hire. She mentioned that her company also produces videos for personal and company websites, whether it's introducing a service and/or product.

Alana Roshay is a Certified Distressed Property Expert/Realtor. Her specialty is in assisting homeowners who are experiencing financial hardship. She and her team negotiate short sales and have the resources to put you in touch with the right bankruptcy or real estate attorneys depending on your needs. La'Nae Norwood is an Internet and Social Media Advertising/Marketing Expert with over six years of experience. She has worked with hundreds of businesses in various industries both small, large, locally, and nationally. She also uses her talents to help people, communities, and charities.

Tanya Ragir is a Sculptor. She's been a member for two years and felt compelled and inspired to attend the NAPW Los Angeles Local Chapter meeting today. She discussed successful speaking engagements where she describes and markets her work.

Anna Sweat is a Public Speaker. She worked for the state board for mental health clients. She is a disability chair. Her large family includes nine grandkids, and three great-grandkids; almost 70, she has two boyfriends. gmenanna@att.net

The next Los Angeles Chapter meeting will be held at Factors Deli on November 14th at 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
